Message: My History Doesn't Determine My Destiny

Greetings to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. God loves you and so do I. Thought for today. It is very interesting to know how elephants are train to stay in one place. When they are young the trainers would tie a rope around the elephant's leg and the other end to a pole. The young baby elephant would pull trying to free himself but he realizes that he is not strong enongh so he stops trying. The trainer repeats the process for a few days. Eventually, the baby elephant stops trying to get free. The elephant is so conditioned by his past experiences that when he is fully grown, he could easily snap the same rope that held him bound as a baby but he refuses to try. Likewise, many of us are still bound by our experiences in our past that held us back as babes in Christ. In many cases , we are more mature and stronger in Christ now but still let those small events keep us bound . Today is the day that we become smarter than the elephants and use the power that is within us to be set free of painful experiences of our past. It is written that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. What may have been impossible to do on our own before Christ or being babes in Christ, is now possible if we are mature in Christ. Never give up trying to be free. I declare and decree that my history will not be my destiny. May God ETERNALLY bless you and your family !

Poem of Today :

Some people chose to be held by their past like a ship that has been anchored- it is not where they want to be.
Having so much potential they allow a small part of their lives to keep them from enjoying the open sea.

These people constantly use their small rear mirror to drive instead of the big windshield.
They refuse to learn from their past and use this knowledge to wisely rebuild.

Please don't be like these people that refuse to live choosing instead to slowly die.
Let us choose to embrace a new life knowing that if we pull from God-he will gladly supply.

My history will not determine my destiny.
My future will be greater than my wildest fantasy.

For my Heavenly father has mind blowing blessings waiting for me.
He has given a Heavenly vision for me to see.

What can stop my God from showing himself mightily in my life?
Only my faith can limit him, if I choose to dwell in my past causing inter strife.

My destiny will be based on my vision and not my history that limits my life span.
I will let God be God in my life allowing him to do all that he possibly can.

Prayer for Today:

Heavenly Father, please deliver me from thinking that I am to weak to overcome my past when you have already given me the power to do so. Open my eyes so that I can see my true potiential and give me the courage to walk in it. In Jesus Name.Amen

Message: Are You Prepared?By Elder Kelvin Gilmore

Greetings  to all of  my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. God loves you and so do I. Thought for today. A teenage son may approach his father to ask him to buy his first car. The father would in turn ask the son, “ Do you know how to drive?” The teenage son would say, “no”. The father would tell the son,” first ask me to teach you how drive before you ask me for a car”. Likewise, we as children of God often ask God for blessings that we are not prepared for. It is wiser to ask God to prepare us to receive his blessings first. Ex. If I want God to send me  a wife who has a gentle spirit, God fearing, loving and kind, I would first ask God to prepare me to be this kind of man before I ask  to receive such a wife. Please take notice that preparation for God’s blessings is usually a painful process so get ready to go through some trials to receive what you ask for. I declare and decree that I will ask God to prepare me to receive his blessings before I ask him for the blessing. May God Bless you and your family Eternally.Poem of Today:  The blessings of God are given to those who are prepared. They are not given to those who are motivational impaired.
For many have goals that they have set. But most will see their dreams sadly unmet.
Why..is it because no one told them to prepare? Did they close their eyes hoping that their dreams will be there?
Blessings will come to those who are prepared to receive. But one must first know that all things are possibile to them that believe.
It is written, that we must believe that God is a rewarder to them that seek him. Trusting God to do the impossible is our assurance that we will never sink but swim.
An umbrella is needed when rain is expected. Likewise, preparation is normal when blessings are projected.
Will you be in the group of children of God that receives his very best? Or will you be in the group who continues to fail the preparation test?  Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, prepare us to be vessels of light to shine continuously for your Glory, magnifying Jesus in all that we do. Thank You, Father. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Message:Our God can be Trusted

Greetings to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ !!! God loves you and so do I. Thought for today.We have a God that we can trust. He has proven his love for us by sending his precious son Jesus who is the GIFT above all gifts. May our Heavenly Father open our hearts so that we can receive the love that he has already given us. We should therefore first treasure our relationship with God through Jesus above ALL other relationships. We should also give our God our trust and appreciation for all of the people that he has put in our lives to be a blessing to us which includes our enemies. Let us always have a heart of gratitude for the giver of every good and perfect gift. Let us fully trust him in all of our life's situations. I declare and decree that I will trust my God because of the GREAT love that he has for me. May God Eternally Bless You and your family !

Poem For Today:

While there are many who put their trust in people or things.
To put our trust in God, makes us more than men but kings.

For a king knows to seek counsel from the one that can show him the way.
He knows that his decision will affect many lives so continues to pray.

Our Heavenly Father can always be trusted; he is the only one that can't lie to you.
There are many who are going astray for not trusting in the one who is faithful and true.

Let us believe and always know that our God ears is always open to our cries.
Let us know that we need a Trusted God to lead us when we have blinded eyes.

Prayer for Today:

Heaven Father, remove anything in our lives that keeps us from trusting you completely and fully. Thank you Father. In Jesus Name .Amen

Message: Father, Change My Diaper

 Greetings to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ !!! God loves you and so do I. Thought for today. When an infant makes a soiled diaper, he is not responsible for cleaning himself but he is responsible for crying out to his parents letting them know his condition for them to change him. Likewise, we being children of God will sometimes make a mess with our lives. For an example, we might be in a relationship with the wrong person which has lead us into a messy situation. Though we recognized our mistake, it is not our responsibility to clean our mess but it is our responsibility to confess and repent. Our Heavenly Father will clean us by first removing the soiled diaper and then clean us up before he introduces us to a clean diaper. Like a Good parent, GOD WILL NOT PUT A GOOD DIAPER OVER A MESSY SITUATION. In many cases, we have attempted to correct our own mistakes by removing the old and getting the new without God cleaning us and preparing us for the new which still leaves us with a mess. Please note that when God removes the old and prepares us for the new, it maybe painful and lonely. Be patient with God knowing that the new will be well worth the process. Our Heavenly Father is always good .Every good and perfect gift comes from him. Allow him to prepare us to receive what he has for us. I declare and decree that we will yield our entire lives to God through Jesus for him to perfect those things concerning us. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. May God Eternally Bless You and Your family !!!

 Poem for Today:

 Like a soiled diaper that a child may have on but knows not how to change.
 Life in this world is filled with evil which is unpleasant; for holiness I'll gladly exchange.

 Why continue to have sin attached to me when I can have the cleansing power of Jesus Blood?
Isn't it wiser to swim in the living fresh river than to sink in the sewage of sin that looks like mud?

 I choose today to ask my Heavenly Father to exchange my stained past for a new garment and a fresh future.
 I also ask him to give me the strength and tenacity to cleave to his word and every trial endure.

 Now with a clean garment, I am no longer weighted down with the sins of my past.
I'm filled with joy because I live in the Father's presence that will always last.

 Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, thank you for cleansing me of my past stained life of sin. Please keep me in remembrance that you have put on me the garment of Holiness that magnifies Jesus. In Jesus name.Amen

I Desire To Be A Holy Child Of God

Greetings to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ !!! God loves you and so do I. Thought for today. There is one attribute of our God that we must remember above all others. It is this attribute that the Angels and the Elders are saying constantly in Heaven. This is an indication of the importance and emphasis that God places on this particular attribute. According to the book of Revelations, the Angels and Elders are saying Holy, Holy,Holy is our God Almighty. We must never forget that we serve a Holy God. By knowing that he is Holy, we also know that he desires Holy children. There is an old saying that applies here "like Father like son". The purpose of the trails that we go through is the process of converting our sin nature into the Holy nature of our Heavenly Father. Let us help him by coming completely out of the world and into the marvelous light of Jesus. Let us die daily to selfish ambitions and live only to do God's Holy Will. I declare and decree that God's Will be accepted and done in my life. May God Eternally Bless You and Your Family!!!

My Holy Heavenly Father

It is written that you are light and have no darkness in you at all.
I am your child who desires to be like you; please don't let me fall.

Keep me under your watchful eye ; don't let me go astray.
Forgive me when you give me instructions but I still struggle to obey.

You are my Holy Heavenly Father that I trust to transform me.
From a sinner man to a Holy Child for Heaven and Earth to see.

Let's Keep It Moving Forward

Greetings to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ ! God loves you and so do I , Thought for today. The vehicles that we drive were design to go forward most of the time. We look through a large windshield to see what is ahead of us so we can go where we need to be. We only use the small rear mirror occasionally to see what is behind us so we can make adjustments in our driving. Like a car, we were design to go forward in life. Our eyes are in front of our faces instead of the back of our heads. Our feet are pointed in front of us and not behind us. Let's use the same concept of driving as we move through different situations and circumstances in life. No matter if these events are good or bad....sunshine or rain....LET'S KEEP IT MOVING FORWARD. We shouldn't make the mistake of being stuck by keep looking backwards to our past. Know that we will go where we are looking....forward or backward. We as Children of God should always keep our eyes focused on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith so we can be where he is in Heaven. I declare and decree that I will not make my pass my destiny but I press towards the mark of the prize of the high calling that is in Christ Jesus. May God Eternally Bless you and your family !

The Garden of the Mind

Greetings to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ ! God loves love you and so do I. Thought for today. When we observe fertile soil, we notice that it doesn't matter what seeds are planted in it....They Will Grow.....Our minds can be liken to fertile soil. Your mind is neutral .It doesn't matter what seeds are planted on it....They Will Grow....We have a free will of what we allow to be planted in our minds. Now imagine that you lived in a crime invested neighborhood but you leave the front door to your home opened 24/7. This would be ludicrous correct ? Our mind is the most precious and power thing that we have but many allow the doors to their minds to remain opened 24/7. The enemy ( Devil ) loves these people because he is able to freely plant unlimited evil seeds. Be wise Today....Guard Your Mind....Only allow what is Good for you and your soul to enter in. I declare and decree that with God's help I will only allow what is good for me and my soul to enter my mind. The Devil will no longer have an open door policy to my thoughts and ideas.. May God Eternally bless you and your family !

 The Garden of the Mind

 Man's first instruction by the Creator was to dress and keep the Garden.
But Man has violated God's instruction so severely that he needs a pardon.

 For the first garden that a man must cultivate and protect is the garden of the mind.
He needs to prepare it to produce fruits that will benefit God and all of mankind.

 He must begin daily seeking and receiving instructions from the Creator.
He must carry these instructions out like a man in a restaurant being a waiter.

God has tools available for him to use-His Holy Spirit and His Holy Book.
But most have avoided his Spirit and the Bible, they choose to overlook.

 Now because of his ignorance, his mind is filled with weeds and thistles.
And in the school of life, his neglect may result in God giving him an early dismissal.

 By accepting Jesus Christ as Lord over his mind, his garden is guaranteed to produce the right fruits. A man choosing to have the mind of Christ, there should be no greater life's pursuits.

 For Jesus' mind alone can produce the fruits that can please God and bring him the greatest delight. Like a Waiter, let us serve our Heavenly Father what he has ordered: let us satisfy his appetite.

 Heavenly Father, we desire to have the mind of Christ and we choose only to have the seeds that you approve to enter our minds.
